CPAP Rental Policy - Prescription Required

At Peoples Care Medical Supply, we understand the importance of knowing how to rent a CPAP machine correctly. Our commitment is to provide safe, compliant, and reliable CPAP rental services for patients managing sleep apnea and other respiratory conditions. To comply with Federal and Medical Regulations (FDA), a valid physician prescription is required for all CPAP machine rentals.

Prescription Requirements

• New Patients: Please fax your prescription or sleep study documentation to (866) 834-6266 before we can process your rental.
• We do not bill insurance - pay as you go
• Returning Patients: If you've previously purchased a CPAP machine from Peoples Care Medical Supply, we keep your prescription securely for up to 7 years. Simply let us know when placing your new rental order.
• Need Assistance? We can contact your sleep center or physician directly to request your prescription if needed.

Pickup & Return Policy:

• All CPAP rental machines must be returned in good working conditions with no damage or missing parts.
• To protect you both and us, we recommend taking photos of the device upon delivery to document any pre-existing marks or wear.
• Damage or Loss Fee: Machines returned with significant damage or not returned may incur charges of up to 80% of the cost of a new CPAP unit.

ID & Payment Requirements:

When learning how to rent a CPAP machine, it’s crucial to ensure a smooth rental process. Customers must provide:

• A valid government-issued photo ID
• A credit card under renter's name with matching billing and shipping address
• Credit card must have an expiration date at least 6 months from the rental date
• If your card is close to expiration, please contact us in advance to update your payment details
